Baramulla (auch Baramula; Urdu بارہ Ω…ΩˆΩ„Ϋ) ist eine Stadt (Municipal Council) im Nordwesten des indischen Unionsterritorium Jammu und Kashmir.

Sie bildet den Verwaltungssitz des gleichnamigen Distrikts. Beim Zensus 2011 lag die Einwohnerzahl bei 58.053, mit Vororten bei 71.434.

Die Stadt Baramulla liegt im nordwestlichen Teil des Kaschmirtals am Flussufer des Jhelam auf einer HΓΆhe von 1586 m. Westlich von Baramulla erhebt sich die Gebirgskamm des Pir Panjal. Zur 45 km ostsΓΌdΓΆstlich von Baramulla gelegenen Provinzhauptstadt Srinagar fΓΌhrt neben dem National Highway 1A auch eine Eisenbahnlinie.
